UPDATE :I still haven’t got my connection and no one visited me once, but I got a call today (20/07/20) and was asked for the happy code. Woman on the phone said that there is no box (That Fber Box from which wires are drawn for a particular street) in my street yet and they will require more time to lay wires. I went and checked and the nearest box is almost exactly 50 metres away from my street. She did not give any definite date until which laying of that 50m Line can be expected. Is it okay for me to share the Happy code ?, They themselves are confused as to when the process can be completed. If I was given a specific date, then it would have felt more reasonable to give them the code.
IN SHORT : I have paid Rs : 3536.00 for a new fiber line on 08/07/2020 and it’s the 10th day and no one showed up here.

In detail : Two folks showed up on 8th of july after my online request for fiber connection :
This guy sounded like the incharge among the two.
Second Guy was Anurag : Phone : 9630989102
Rahul arranged the payment of Rs 3536/- and assured me that the process will be completed on 10th of July. Anurag did the KYC but let me be clear, Rahul was the guy who operated Anurag’s employee ID to do that. He was the practical incharge of this affair .When I called on 10th of july, he told me that there was some fault which the line people were unable to specify and re-assured me of completion on monday. My brother contacted rahul on WhatsApp on Monday. Here is how it went : (Airtel VFiber is Rahul’s Number)
He also conveyed ” AARAHA HU WIRE LEKE RASTE ME HU” on a phone call following which he stopped picking up & you can see in the screenshot, He replied “Kuch nahi” the next day as if nothing happened.
My brother, also called Anurag who said something along the lines of “Don’t ask me, ask the wiring team or Rahul (One of the two, more likely the latter)”.
Both started either rejecting or not answering our calls.

Later that day (15th of July) Anurag gave us a number which he told was their boss’. I called and explained the situation, to which he replied to me to wait and he’ll see once he reaches the office. We called like thrice within 1-2 hours, he was at the field all time. This was the convo in WhatsApp that happened the next day : (Ankur Pandey is the Supposed boss As put by our homeboy Anurag)
Contacted Anwar today and this is how it went :
In the midst of all this, a dozen calls made by us to all those were left unanswered and even rejected.
Now, there could be a genuine reason why I still am not using the fiber connection I paid for 10 days ago, But why were they so confident before they placed our hopes so high. The biggest “Wrong” in this case is the not replying and rejecting calls part & its that which made me write this. Also tried tweeting this like a normal person but it seems like people there are unable to understand the whole situation.
First of all, I DO Want the connection. I have needs for a low-latency high speed internet.
I want the higher ups to contact these people and ask them to carry out the procedure in a proper manner, The last thing I want is a hastily put connection that compromises the latency and speed.
